replacing the final output shaft 2008 Foreman 475

It really depends on which output shaft it is. If it's one coming out of the differential like to the wheels, could be manageable but still requires tools and a service manual.

If it's the main output shaft directly from the engine or transmission, that's a more complex repair, might require splitting the engine case. We can hear it from everyone here too, they might have some inputs as well
 
Yeah, wheel-side ones are a snap with tools and a guide. But those by the gearboxes? Tricky! Engine splitting might even be on the cards.
 
I totally agree, repairs on wheel-side output shafts are pretty straightforward. However, dealing with the main output shaft and having to split the engine case is a big job.
