Clunk noise at full rear droop

I've got an issue with my stock '13 Foreman ES (only mod is a winch). When the rear suspension hits full droop, there's a clunk. I replaced the OEM shock and swingarm bearings, but there is no change but it seems limiting shock travel stops it. Any ideas what else it could be?

It might be the rear suspension linkage or the bushings. Even if the swingarm bearings are new, those linkages can wear out and make a clunking sound when fully extended. While you're checking things, take a look at the axle bearings for any play, and ensure everything is tightened properly. Don't forget, a bit of grease in those areas can really help.

Yep, creaky links or dry bushings could be the troublemakers

You're completely right, linkage bushings usually wear out before the swingarm bearings do. Keeping them properly greased and following the correct torque specs can help avoid most suspension clunking problems
