Honda foreman keeps dying out

My brother is having some trouble with his Honda Foreman, and I'm hoping someone here might have some ideas.
It's not running right, it starts up, but then it keeps dying out. He thinks it's not getting enough fuel.

Has anyone else dealt with this? Any suggestions on what to check first would be a huge help!

First thing I'd check is the fuel filter and petcock, then make sure the carb isn't gummed up. Foremans are known to act up if the jets are dirty or if there's water in the fuel.
