I could use some help. I've got a 1998 Foreman 400 that starts up fine but isn't showing a neutral light or getting any spark. I've already checked the fuses and connections, but no luck

What should I check next? Appreciate any advice

You should check the ignition and kill switches for corrosion or wear, also the neutral safety switch, because if the quad doesn't recognize it in neutral than it'll block spark.

I'd be concerned the issue might be with the neutral safety switch or ignition control module, if the ECU isn't seeing neutral, it might block spark, it is worth testing continuity on that switch next.

Try checking the neutral switch and its wiring, they're usually the issue. Also, check the wiring harness for any damaged wires or loose connections around the ignition system.

Agree with @mrGrey. You should start with the neutral switch and make sure it's actually grounding like it should. If that checks out, that's the time to look at the ignition module.
