The tires on my Foreman are a mismatch from heaven, all 4 tires are different and there's even one that's not the same size as the others. I plan to fix this and get a new set, but I'm not sure which ones to go for, so I could use some suggestions. I mostly do hard packed surfaces with a bid of mud, but nothing too crazy

I'm curious to know for how long you've had all tires mismatched?
That could've compromised your experience and could cause serious damage down the line.
Anyway, for hard-packed surfaces with some mud, a good all-around aggressive all-terrain tire would likely serve you well.
Check out Maxxis Bighorns or ITP Terracross tires for that kind of mixed riding.
They offer a good balance of traction without being overly aggressive!

I was in the same boat with my old Foreman, I had three brands and one odd size, I switched to a full set of ITP Mud Lite ATs, and the ride instantly felt smoother with way better traction and so far, no regrets!

I'd have to disagree a bit while those tires are decent, I've found they can still be too aggressive for hard-packed trails and wear quicker than expected. Matching tires also isn't just about damage, it's key for consistent handling.

Yeah, mismatched tires mess with your ride and wear out fast. For those tough trails with a bit of mud, all-terrain tires like Maxxis Bighorn or ITP Terracross are a solid bet. Sticking with the same tires? Best way to keep things balanced and make them last.

You're spot on, matching tires really does help avoid uneven wear. All-terrain options mentioned above provide fantastic traction in muddy conditions, making them perfect for challenging trails.

Not sure how long the previous owner had this setup. Anything I can do to check or make sure I don't get stranded in the middle of nowhere?
