Foreman 450 rims

Is a 12" or 11" wide tire too much for the stock steel rims on my 2007 Foreman 450?

A 12" or 11" wide tire is pushing it for your stock steel rims, they're built for narrower widths. You'll likely need wider aftermarket rims to handle that safely without issues.

Oh okay, so wider is what I need. Thanks. By the way, can you suggest budget friendly aftermarket rims? And what size should i start with??

Putting 11" or 12" wide tires on stock steel rims is asking for trouble. It might "fit," but you're stressing the sidewalls and compromising handling. If you want that width, upgrade the rims...stock just isn't made for it.

Agreed. Using wider wheels to fit those tires is way safer than sticking with those skinny stock rims

Makes sense, i figured it might be pushing it. If I do go for wider rims, do you have a recommended offset or width that works well with 11" or 12" tires on the Foreman 450 without rubbing or messing up the handling too much?
